Cleaning
To clean, use a soft, lint-free cloth dipped in a small amount of water and mild detergent or stone soap. Rinse the surface area and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use scouring powders or products that contain lemon, vinegar, ammonia, or other acidic and/or abrasive solutions.
Care
Prior to shipping, the tops are treated with a protective layer. After about a year of use, a sealant should be reapplied. Appropriate products for stone protection and care can be purchased from home improvement stores. Always protect the surface with coasters, trivets, and placements. Avoid contact with alcohol, citrus juices, and other acidic foods, as they will etch or dull the surface. Wipe up spills immediately to prevent absorption and permanent marks.
